John Howard Griffin

Texas-born author and journalist of racial justice-themed functions. He is greatest remembered for Dark Like Me, a 1960 memoir of his season of posing as an BLACK guy in the American South. After learning French on the College or university of Poitiers and medication on the French Ecole de Medecine, he offered in the Pacific movie theater of World Battle II as an associate of america Army Atmosphere Corps. His early literary functions, released in the 1950s, are the Devil Trips Outside, Land from the Great Sky, and Nuni. He grew up in Dallas, Tx by John Griffin and pianist Lena Griffin. His relationship to Elizabeth Ann Holland created four kids and lasted from 1953 until his loss of life in 1980. Professional Adam Whitmore starred in the 1964 film edition of Griffin’s memoir, Dark Like Me.
