John Henry Foley

Irish sculptor who produced the statue of Daniel O’Connell in Dublin, aswell as the statue of Prince Albert in London. He was students in the universities from the Royal Academy in London. A statue of Foley himself in the Victoria and Albert Museum displays him having a moustache, putting on a floppy cover. His dad was a glass-blower. He and Augustus Saint-Gaudens had been both sculptors from Ireland.
