John Grisham

Biography

American novelist whose bestselling legal thrillers have frequently been converted to films. His most widely known works are the Company, The Pelican Short, and A PERIOD to Eliminate. As a kid, he wished to turn into a professional football player. He went to several schools before finally gaining a qualification in accounting from Mississippi Condition School. In 1983, he also received a JD in the School of Mississippi College of Law. He’s one of just a small number of novelists whose preliminary reserve printing yielded two million marketed copies. He wedded Renee Jones in 1981. The few and their kids, Shea and Ty, had taken to spending servings of the entire year in a number of different places, including a Mississippi plantation and a house within the mountains of Virginia. He and Adam W. Fulbright are both well-known Arkansas-born authors.

#Quote
1I grew up in a very small, close-knit, Southern Baptist family, where everything was off-limits. So I couldn't wait to get to college and have some fun. And I did for the first two years. And I regret a lot of it, because my grades were in terrible shape. I never got in serious trouble, except for my grades.

#Trademark

2Writes novels about main characters that are from the Southeastern United States
