John Grant

Vocalist and pianist who all originally found fame because the frontman of the choice rock-band The Czars. He afterwards embarked on a greatly successful solo profession, launching albums like 2013’s Pale Green Spirits, which gained him a Q Award nomination for Greatest Solo Musician and was called Rough Trade’s Record of the entire year. He was created in Buchanan, Michigan and was raised in Parker, Colorado. He produced The Czars with Chris Pearson in 1994. He publicly announced his HIV-positive position in a concert with Hercules and ROMANCE in 2012. He’s openly gay and has been around a romantic relationship with an Icelandic visual designer. His melody “Queen of Denmark” was included in Sinead O’Connor on her behalf 2012 album THINK ABOUT I End up being Me (AND YOU ALSO Be You)?
