John Dixon

He played for Nottinghamshire from 1882-1905, where he was a prominent participant and a captain. He was a good all-around athlete as an adolescent. Furthermore to his cricket profession, he played membership soccer for Notts State and Corinthians, and came out on England’s nationwide team. He was created in Grantham, Lincolnshire, and passed away in The Recreation area, Nottingham. He’s part of an extended type of Nottinghamshire captains, which include Brian Bolus.
