Early American politician and pioneer. He displayed New Jersey within the Continental Congress and explored the United Areas’ huge Northwest Place. After serving within the Continental Military during the Groundbreaking War, he joined up with the New Shirt Legislative Council. Inside a controversial move that became referred to as the Symmes Buy (or Miami Buy), he bought a great deal of property in Ohio. He was raised in NY as the boy of Mary Cleves and Timothy Symmes. His relationship to Anna Tuthill created three daughters. His son-in-law was ninth USA Chief executive William Henry Harrison.
