John Betjeman

Twentieth-century United kingdom poet and journalist whose functions include Summoned By Bells and Brand-new Bats In Outdated Belfries. He was also a founder from the Victorian Culture. His family possessed a company that created Victorian-style home furniture and household adornments. He became the Poet Laureate of Britain in 1972, following 1966 publication of Great and Low, his 8th assortment of poetry. He wedded Penelope Chetwode, with whom he eventually had two kids. He resented his Oxford School teacher, C.S. Lewis, for not really thinking in his convenience of academic success; certainly, Betjeman failed his classes and dropped away from college.
