John Badham

British director of the favorite 1970s and 1980s films Sunday Evening Fever, WarGames, and Brief Circuit. He was created in Britain but grew up in Birmingham, Alabama, learning to be a naturalized U.S. resident in 1970. His cult traditional 1983 film WarGames performed on the overall public’s paranoia encircling the Cold Battle and the risk of a nuclear strike. His dad Henry was a U.S. Military General. His main breakthrough emerged in 1977 with Sunday Evening Fever starring John Travolta within a star-making role.
