Joe Bowen

Canadian sportscaster who began announcing for the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1982. He was known as “The Voice from the Toronto Maple Leafs” and his catchphrase “Holy Mackinaw!” became well-known. He called video games for the Nova Scotia Voyageurs before he proceeded to go to the Maple Leafs. He provides announced for the Toronto-based professional lacrosse group, the Toronto Rock and roll. He wedded Jannine Ferguson, plus they acquired four sons. He made an appearance as an announcer in the 1986 film Youngblood, starring Rob Lowe.
