Remembered on her behalf roles in such early “talkies” like a Lady’s Morals, Once in an eternity, and Big City Blues, she also made an appearance in various stage performs and in such silent motion pictures as Second Youth and JUST HOW of a female. She first made an appearance on Broadway in 1899; 2 decades later on, she was cast inside a silent film entitled Her Only Method. Her sibling, Olin Howland, also experienced a career like a stage and display actor. In the first 1900s, she was briefly wedded towards the Canadian article writer Arthur Stringer. She later on experienced a long-lasting, same-sex collaboration with American playwright Zoe Akins. She acted in a number of films made by the Bert Wheeler and Robert Woolsey humor duo.
