Wife of Walter Mondale, the forty-second Vice-President of america. While portion as Second Female, she transformed the Vice Presidential Mansion right into a display of American artwork and was affectionately provided the nickname of “Joan of Artwork.” She graduated from Macalester University and worked on the Boston Museum of Great Arts and Minneapolis Institute of Artwork. She fulfilled her husband on the blind date create with a fellow classmate. She and Walter Mondale acquired three kids, Theodore, Eleanor and William. Her hubby offered as Vice Leader under Jimmy Carter while Jimmy’s wife Rosalynn offered as First Female.

1 Sister of William H. Mondale, former assistant attorney general of Minnesota and Ted Mondale, former Minnesota Senator; daughter of former Vice President Walter F. Mondale and Joan Mondale.
2 She was a radio broadcaster in Chicago, Illinois in the late 1980s. In 1989, she became an entertainment reporter for WCCO-TV in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She worked as a DJ later at WLOL-FM radio in Minneapolis. She appeared on E! online cable channel, ESPN, and CBS This Morning television programs. She left her radio duties in March 2009 for health reasons.
3 She graduated from St. Timothy's School in Maryland and with a Bachelor's Degree from St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York.
