Joan Finney

First feminine governor of Kansas, an workplace she served from 1991 to 1995. She was also her state’s 1st Roman Catholic Governor and something from the few pro-life Democrats of her period. She graduated from Washburn University or college in 1978. She was Kansas’s oldest governor, acquiring office at age 65. She was wedded to her spouse Spencer until her loss of life. In 1996 she went for the U.S. Senate chair vacated by Bob Dole but was defeated.
