Jim McElreath

USAC and CART Tournament Car series racer who was simply inducted in to the Country wide Sprint Car Hall of Popularity in 2002. He started race when he was 17-years aged, and spent 15 years race as an amateur while operating like a bricklayer. He raced in the Indianapolis 500 15 occasions, and was the first year of the entire year for the 1962 competition. His son, Wayne McElreath Jr was also a racer, but passed away inside a 1977 competition. He received the inaugural California 500 driving a car from your team of the.J. Foyt.
