Famous for earning the Australian Derby twice in the first 1990s as soon as in the 1st decade from the 21st century, this experienced New Zealand jockey was also, by 1997, a two period Melbourne Glass champion. He started his horse race profession in the past due 1970s and, in 1983, received his 1st Melbourne Glass while driving a horse called Kiwi. In past due 2013, he received his one hundredth equine competition atop Zoustar in the Coolmore Stud Stakes. His 1st marriage led to two daughters. Along with his second wife, Vicki, he elevated a third child. He and fellow jockey Shane Dye both increased to popularity on racetracks in New Zealand and Australia.
