Jazz musician known for his lengthy collaborations with Wayne Shorter, John McLaughlin, Mike Stern, Bob Berg, among others. His initial abroad tour was using the American Youngsters Jazz Orchestra when he was 16. He became eminently reputed among his fellow performers, being known as the ‘musician’s musician,’ and dealing with famous brands John Mayer, Steely Dan, Chris Botti, and Dizzy Gillespie. His initial interests had been the tuba, drums, and saxophone, but his parents believed it smart to start his music lessons using the piano. He had taken personal lessons from George Shearing for quite some time.
