Jerome Kern

Among 20th-century America’s greatest composers, known for composing “Ol’ Guy River,” “HOW YOU Appear Tonight,” and hundreds others. He went to Barringer SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL, known after that as Newark SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL, where he constructed music because of its initial musical in 1901, that was a minstrel present. He also done an amateur creation of “Uncle Tom’s Cabin” for the Newark Yacht Membership in 1902. He also constructed music for silent movies, possibly from 1912, but certainly in 1916 for “Gloria’s Love,” a 20-component serial. He wedded Eva Leale on Oct 25, 1910, plus they had one young child jointly. He was connected with various other essential librettists, such as for example Oscar Hammerstein II.
