Jeremy Slate

Prolific actor of film and television who appeared in more than 100 different shows. He also performed tasks in The Lawnmower Man and Accurate Grit, and performed a recurring part on Gunsmoke. He went to St. Lawrence College or university in Canton, NY, where he became typically the most popular guy on campus, playing soccer, editing the institution magazine, and showing up for the campus radio. He performed Chuck Wilson for the ABC daytime cleaning soap opera, One Existence to Live. He was wedded to the celebrity Tammy Grimes from 1966 to ’67. He published the lyrics to Tex Ritter’s Best-10 hit, Simply Beyond the Moon.
