Jean-Martin Charcot

Co-founder of contemporary neurology who also became among France’s foremost doctors. He taught in the University or college of Paris for a lot more than 30 years before turning his focus on neurology. Charcot’s Disease, also called lateral sclerosis or Lou Gehrig’s disease, was initially discovered and explained by Charcot. His child, Jean-Baptiste Charcot, was also a mentioned scientist and a polar explorer. Sigmund Freud was among Charcot’s college students.
