Jean-Jacques Annaud

Cesar Award-winning movie director of critically acclaimed movies Quest for Fireplace, The Name of the Rose, and Foe on the Gates. He aimed TV advertisements in the later 1960s and early 1970s. He spent four years getting ready to immediate his BAFTA Award-winning film The Name of the Rose, vacationing throughout the world searching for the perfect stars and places. He was wedded to Monique Rossignol from 1970 until 1980 and acquired one little girl with her. He was barred from getting into China following discharge of his film Seven Years in Tibet starring Brad Pitt.
