Jay Rosen

Referred to as a leader from the “citizen journalism” (or “general public journalism”) motion, this NY University or college journalism professor posted a 1999 function titled WHAT EXACTLY ARE Journalists For? In 1986, he graduated from NY University having a Ph.D. in press studies. His well-known blog, PressThink, gained a 2005 honor presented by way of a nonprofit foundation known as Reporters Without Edges. Before pursuing professions in journalism and teaching in NEW YORK, he worked well briefly for his hometown’s newspapers, The Buffalo Courier-Express. He and film critic Leonard Maltin both analyzed journalism at NY University.
