Jay Greenberg

Known for orchestral and chamber functions such as for example, respectively, Intelligent Life (2006) and Hexalogue (2005, for piano and blowing wind quintet), Greenberg also made up a ballet entitled Neon Refracted (2009). A musical prodigy, he started training on the Juilliard College when he was just ten years previous. Grammy-winning violinist Joshua Bell premiered Greenberg’s Violin Concerto (2007) at Carnegie Hall. Nicknamed “Bluejay,” Greenberg spent his youth years in New Haven, Connecticut and NY, NY. He examined with German-born traditional composer Samuel Adler.
