Janusz Olejniczak

Traditional musician and actor whose wide-ranging repertoire included Beethoven, Schumann, Schubert, Chopin, Ravel, and Prokofiev. He arrived in sixth in the 1970 International Chopin Piano Competition. He portrayed and performed Chopin in The Blue Notice, a film by Andrzej Å»uÅ‚awski. His family members recognized his skill while he was still youthful, and he began learning piano when he was six. He was Władysław Szpilman’s hands in 2002’s The Pianist starring Adrien Brody.
