Known on her behalf functions of Christianity-themed historical fiction, this Canadian novelist became well-known for her Like Comes Softly, Prairie Legacy, and Times from the Heart series. Between 1981 and 2011, she penned almost eighty inspirational books. A lot more than two decades after earning a qualification from Mountain Watch Bible University in Alberta, Canada, she found a publisher on her behalf debut novel, Appreciate Shows up Softly. She was the 1992 receiver of the Evangelical Christian Web publishers Association’s President’s Prize. She was raised on the traditional western Canadian prairie as the girl of Amy Ruggles Steeves and farmer Fred Steeves. In 1957, she wedded Edward Oke; the few went on to improve four kids. She and American writer Donita K. Paul both had written functions of Christian fiction.
