Biography

American comedy writer most widely known as the collaborator and wife of Lily Tomlin. Her comedic functions include The Seek out Indications of Intelligent Existence in the Universe as well as the Incredible Shrinking Female. At age group seventeen, she shifted from Tennessee to NY to start out an acting profession. She later approved a touring agreement using the Barter Theater in Abingdon, Virginia. Her 1969 CBS unique gained her a Peabody Award and fascinated the interest of Lily Tomlin. She was raised in Morristown, Tennessee. Her romantic relationship with Lily Tomlin was, from its inception, an open up Hollywood magic formula. She had written the screenplay for Second by Second, a 1978 film that starred John Travolta.
