Expressionist painter who influenced Paul Klee, Emil Nolde, as well as other artists. He was highly affiliated with creative group Les XX. He started his creative training at age group fifteen and enrolled at Brussels’ Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts in 1877. His painting, “Les Aureoles du Christ,” was placed on display on the Getty Museum in LA. His father, Adam Frederic Ensor, was a civil engineer. One of is own paintings appeared within the film “Halloween,” which starred Jamie Lee Curtis.
