Served as a co-employee justice from the U.S. Supreme Courtroom from 1914 to 1941. He graduated from Vanderbilt College or university in 1882. He was known for his conventional opinions that proceeded to go against nearly all Leader Franklin D. Roosevelt’s New Offer legislation. He was created to Dr. John Oliver and Ellen McReynolds. He was nominated towards the Supreme Courtroom by Leader Woodrow Wilson.
