Biography

Beginning pitcher who debuted using the Baltimore Orioles this year 2010 and was traded towards the Chicago Cubs in 2013. In 2015, he proceeded to go 22-6 using a 1.77 ERA while earning the NL Cy Young Award. In 2016, he helped the Cubs earn the franchise’s initial World Series name in over a century. He started his college profession at Weatherford University, but used in Texas Christian School after a calendar year. He was initially drafted in to the MLB with the Cincinnati Reds being a 31st circular choose in 2004, but thought we would continue playing at TCU. He was after that drafted again with the Orioles within the 5th circular from the 2007 MLB Draft. He was created to Lou and Lynda Arrieta and elevated with two brothers called Sam and Lukas. He wedded senior high school sweetheart Brittany in ’09 2009 as well as the few has two kids. He became teammates with fellow beginning pitcher Jon Lester over the Cubs in 2015.
