Well-known for his use the Jamaican reggae band Internal Circle, he’s also significant for his single recordings, such as the 1978 album Dread Dread as well as the 1980 LP CONFUSING Moods. Early in his profession, he collaborated with Augustus Pablo on several monitors, including “False Rasta,” “Baby I REALLY LIKE You Therefore,” and the favorite “Ruler Tubby Fits the Rockers Uptown.” He’s appreciated for his distinct vocal vibrato. The kid of Desmond Elliot and Joan Ashman, he was created in Mandeville, Jamaica, and elevated by his grandparents in Kingston, Jamaica. Tragically, he was wiped out in an automobile crash (together with his kid) when he was simply twenty seven years of age. He and fellow reggae vocalist Gregory Isaacs had been both in the cast from the 1978 Jamaican film Rockers.
