Perhaps renowned for his portrayal of Major Howard in the tv screen series Tell It towards the Marines as well as for his roles in the films The Headless Ghost (1959) and Breaking the Appear Barrier (1952), he’s also remembered for his recurring roles about Orlando, The Military Video game, and Coronation Street. Early in his profession, he portrayed Lieutenant Willoughby in the 1939 feature film The Four Feathers. In 1959, he made an appearance inside a film predicated on the infamous murder spree of Jack port the Ripper. He spent his start in Sandbach, Cheshire, Britain, and later on relocated to London. He made an appearance with Mick Jagger in the Tony Richardson-aimed film Ned Kelly (1970).
