Famously reclusive American writer of Catcher in the Rye, a controversial novel that paints a compelling picture of teenage disillusionment and alienation. His additional literary works add a brief tale collection entitled Nine Tales and a novella known as Hapworth 16, 1924. He was delivered by his parents to Valley Forge Armed service Academy in Pa, where he spent his past due nights secretly composing stories.
