A modernist Slovene writer, poet, playwright, and activist, he’s most widely known for his book Na Klancu (For the Hill); his crisis Hlapci (Serfs); and his satirical function Pohujsanje v dolini Sentflorijanski (Scandal in St. Florian Valley). He’s also well-known for his symbolist brief stories. He researched engineering for a while on the College or university of Vienna. His picture appeared for the 10,000 tolar costs in Slovenia between 1994 and 2007. He was one of the children born for an impoverished artisan dad, and he grew up mainly by his mom. His worldview was inspired by the task of philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche.
