Isaac Davis

This eighteenth-century soldier, who inspired the famous Minute Man statue that adorns the Old North Bridge in Concord, Massachusetts, is remembered for commanding a unit of Minutemen through the American Revolution. He passed away in fight at age thirty. In past due 1774, he was appointed captain of his town’s Minutemen organization. He previously a premonition of his personal loss of life: before departing for battle with an Apr morning hours in 1775, he bet farewell to his wife and informed her to improve their kids well.
