Polish nurse who risked her life to smuggle 2,500 children away of Nazi-occupied Warsaw during World Battle II. She hid newborns in the bottom of her huge tool handbag and smuggled teenagers in burlap sacks. As she completed her rescue procedure, her pet warned her of getting close to Nazi military. Her heroism continued to be generally unrecognized until several Kansas students had written a play known as “Life within a Jar” that was predicated on her tale. She was wedded 3 x and got one girl. She was known as the feminine Oskar Schindler because she, like Schindler, kept a large number of Jews from specific death.
