Indre Valantinaite

Lithuanian poet and singer who became known for a debut poetry collection entitled Of Fish and Lilies. She examined arts administration at Vilnius School and later went to the Vilnius Academy of Arts. She received initial award in poetry on the First Reserve Contest from the Lithuanian Union of Authors in 2006. She grew up in Kaunas, Lithuania. Like fellow poet Czeslaw Milosz, she was created in Lithuania.
