She was raised in Budapest, Hungary, and became an American resident in her mid-thirties. In the first 1950s, she performed with an espionage-themed NBC Radio plan titled ” INSIDE INFO “. Her initial three relationships — to Nick Szavazd, American film professional Alan Curtis, and Charles Walker — all finished in divorce. Her 4th relationship, to prominent lawyer Donald Dawson, started in 1955 and finished with her loss of life in 1974. She made an appearance with Groucho Marx within the 1949 Marx Brothers musical film Appreciate Happy.
