She was students on the Franz Liszt Academy of Music where she was trained by Liszt pupil Arpad Szendy. She was recognized to provide copious records to her learners, writing “vibrant directions in crimson crayon, right over the web page, in huge words, gratuitous slashes,” regarding to one pupil. She wedded her colleague, Hungarian pianist Louis Kentner. She was regarded by some to obtain the greater skill. He still left her in 1945. She offered as musical consultant for several movies, including 1951’s Murder within the Cathedral, that was an version of the verse dilemma by poet T.S. Eliot.
