Ignazio Buttitta

Twentieth-century Sicilian dialect poet known for Lingua e dialettu along with other works. For any function entitled Io faccio il poeta, he received the 1972 Viareggio Reward. He fought in Globe Battle I and released his 1st two poetry selections, Sintimintali and Marabedda, through the 1920s. He was an associate from the Italian Socialist Party and was imprisoned from the Globe Battle II-era Fascist program. He was created right into a poor family members in Bagheria. He passed away in 1997, at age ninety-seven. He and Alda Merini had been both twentieth-century Italian poets.
