Ignatius Of Loyola

Founder from the Culture of Jesus who all acted seeing that its first Better General and in addition was a Spanish knight, hermit, priest, and theologian. Through the Counter-Reformation, he obtained prominence being a spiritual head. He was struck with a cannonball when the French Military stormed Pamplona’s fortress in 1521. He was beatified by Pope Paul V in 1609 and canonized in 1622 by Pope Gregory XV. He was the 13th of 13 kids blessed to a Basque family members. Pope Francis was a significant Jesuit from the Culture of Jesus.
