Hugh Latimer Dryden


Aeronautical scientist who served as NASA Deputy Administrator from 1958 until his death seven years later on. He led the introduction of the “Bat”, a radar-homing led bomb plan during WWII. He went to John Hopkins School where he examined physics and mathematics. He was portrayed by George Bartenieff in it miniseries From the planet earth towards the Moon. His parents had been called Samuel and Nova. He was talked about in a articles by Tom Wolfe regarding the 40th wedding anniversary of Apollo 11.
