Howard Rumsey

Jazz bassist and 1950s bandleader from the Lighthouse All-Stars. He performed with such jazz greats as Chet Baker, Mls Davis, and Artwork Pepper. He used Stan Kenton’s initial band before going for a hiatus from music. He possessed a club known as Concerts by the ocean from 1971 to 1985. He and his wife once resided in Hermosa Seaside, California. He collaborated with jazz drummer Potential Roach.
