Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer publicity main who also created its Leo the Lion mascot and chose its Latin slogan, Ars Gratia Artis. He 1st worked like a publicist/movie director of marketing for Goldwyn Photos. He then worked well for MGM mainly as Vice Chief executive responsible for Promotion until he retired in 1957. He advertised Battle Bonds for the Treasury Division during World Battle II and in addition caused composer Vernon Duke on stage displays for the Coastline Safeguard. He was wedded three times together with his most well-known union becoming with third wife Lucinda Ballard, the famous costume developer, in 1951. He published many tunes performed by Adele Astaire, Fred Astaire’s old sister.
