World Golfing Hall of Popularity member who also won 32 PGA Trips, as well as the inaugural Experts Tournament. He began using the PGA when it had been still seeking to develop beyond its fledgling origins, and he added significantly to its growth. He was the final player to defeat the fantastic Bobby Jones before Jones retired in 1930. He was raised in Springfield, Missouri.
