Hjalmar Andersen


Norwegian speed skater who received three precious metal medals in the 1952 Olympics, successful the 1500 meter, 5000 meter, and 10000 meter races. He started rate skating when he was a decade old. He received three consecutive Globe Championships from 1950 to 1952. He was created to Bjarne Johan Andersen and Anne Matilde Kristensen. He previously three children along with his wife Gerd. He medaled in the 1952 Olympics when American number skater Dick Switch also took house the gold.
