Hernan Crespo


Prolific Argentine goalscorer who amassed more than 300 goals during his 19-year soccer career. He, like many Buenos Aires children, grew up viewing the neighborhood River Plate group as well as the Argentine nationwide group. His Parma membership gained a world-record £35-million transfer charge in 1999 when he was delivered to play with Lazio after leading Parma towards the 1998-99 Italian Glass. His grandmother was Polish, that was enough of the link with earn him the nickname, “Un Polaco.” He performed alongside fellow scorer Lionel Messi on Argentina’s nationwide group from 2005 to 2007.
