Herbie Hancock

Jazz musician whose period with Mls Davis’ Second Great Quintet changed how people found the tempo section. He created post-bop. He was a kid prodigy and performed Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 5 at age group 11 using the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. His single pieces Cantaloupe Isle and Watermelon Guy garnered him very much acclaim, and his 1964 record Empyrean Isles and his 1965 record Maiden Voyage had been held to become among the 1960s’ most important jazz LPs. He wedded Gudrun Mexines on August 31, 1968, with whom he fathered one young child. He, Stevie Question, Howard Jones, and Thomas Dolby all performed a synthesizer jam at a 1980s Grammy Honours ceremony.
