Biography

Influential film professional who co-founded Warner Bros. Photos along with his three brothers Albert, Sam, and Jack port. He opened up his 1st business, a bike store, in 1899. He was the chief executive of Warner Bros. Photos until 2 yrs before his loss of life. He was wedded to longtime sweetheart Rea Levinson on August 23, 1907. The few had three kids: Lewis, Doris, and Betty. He helped to build up the profession of Hollywood movie director Michael Curtiz .

1Co-founded (with brother Sam Warner) distribution company Warners Features Inc. in 1910, which was reorganized as United Film Service in 1915.
2He also had a son called Lewis J. Warner, who died in 1931, he was only 22.
3In Washington during 1941, as president of Warner Bros., he gave evidence to the Commission of Inquiry on "cinematographic propaganda" in the defense of his works when accused of making "militarism and incitement to war".
4Daughter: Doris Warner, who later married producer Mervyn LeRoy. Granddaughters: Linda LeRoy Janklow, wife of literary agent Mort Janklow; and Cass Warner.
5Uncle of Jack Warner Jr., and great-grandfather of actor Cole Hauser. Cole's maternal grandmother, Betty Warner, was Harry's daughter, with his wife, Rea Levinson. Harry's son-in-law, and Cole's maternal grandfather, was producer Milton Sperling.
