Harry Lumley

NHL Hall of Popularity goaltender who received a Stanley Glass Championship using the Detroit Crimson Wings in 1950. He started his profession with the brand new York Rangers, acquiring the snow for the very first time at 17 years of age. He was a three-time NHL All-Star and received the Vezina Trophy as the league’s best goalkeeper in 1954. He was raised near Owen Sound in Ontario, Canada. He was exchanged towards the Chicago Dark Hawks for another long term Hall of Popularity goaltender, Terry Sawchuk.
