Biography

Abolitionist author whose literary traditional, Uncle Tom’s Cabin, motivated anti-slavery attempts in the North states. Her several literary works consist of novels, letters, content articles, and travel memoirs. She received a first-class education at a college operate by her sister. Later on, she backed the Underground Railroad and housed many fugitive slaves. Story keeps it that Chief executive Lincoln known as her “The tiny woman who published the publication that began this great battle,” in mention of the American Civil Battle. She was among thirteen children created to Roxana Foote Beecher and spiritual innovator Lyman Beecher. She wedded Calvin Ellis Stowe in January of 1836, as well as the couple experienced three daughters and four sons. She was a popular abolitionist, very much like Frederick Douglass.
