Harold McNair

Jazz and calypso saxophonist and flautist who also collaborated numerous jazz greats during his existence, including Terry Cox. He went to the Alpha Kids School and performed in Baba Motta’s music group, going to make music in European countries and in Jamaica. He released many jazz recordings like a sideman, including Swiss Radio Times Jazz Series, Vol. 1 using the Quincy Jones Big Music group. He was created and was raised in Kingston, Jamaica. McNair was asked to try out with Charles Mingus inside a London quartet in the first 1960s.
