Halie Loren

American jazz singer known for albums like Heart 1st, which topped the iTunes Canada jazz albums chart in 2011. Her recording They Oughta Write a Music won the Simply Plain People award for Greatest Vocal Jazz Recording in ’09 2009. She went to the Sitka Good Arts Camp at age group ten and shifted to Oregon with her family members at thirteen. Her recording They Oughta Write a Music offered the second-most copies of any jazz recording in Japan in 2008. She’s a mature sister. She cites jazz vocalist Ella Fitzgerald as an integral influence.
